Description

This is a SUZUKI Classic Round Mandolin M-100, a semi-top-tier model from the renowned Suzuki Violin. It offers exceptional cost performance, with similar specifications from other brands typically costing over 250,000 JPY. The M-100 differs from the highest-end M-150 primarily in its ornamentation and headstock design.

The instrument features beautiful birdseye figuring on the neck and back, making it a pleasure to behold and play. It boasts a well-developed, transparent, and resonant sound that projects beautifully, comparable to the M-150. This quality reflects Suzuki's expertise, including their past OEM work for high-end Shimada mandolins.

・The mandolin has been played and shows signs of use, including dents on the body and weather checking (cracking) typical of lacquer finishes.

・A portion of the soundhole has been worn down from picking.

・The string height is approximately 1mm at the 1st fret and 4mm at the 12th fret, indicating a slight forward bow, which is manageable with bridge and nut adjustments.

・The neck joint, often prone to wear, is still sturdy. Approximately 70% of the frets remain. Please refer to the photos for detailed condition.

・The tuning pegs are precise and function without issue.
