Description

This is the highly acclaimed Luxman Luxkit A3700II. This amplifier features an EL34 push-pull configuration and operates as an AB-class power amplifier with an output of 30-55W (8Ω load). It offers the flexibility to enjoy output and tonal variations by switching between triode (3結) and UL connections. It is currently set to triode connection, which may result in slightly lower output than the catalog specifications.

The input stage uses a 6267 EF86 (Russian military-grade, N.O.S. dead stock), and the driver stage uses 6CG7 6FQ7 (Hitachi made) for high reliability. The EL34 tubes are Electro-Harmonix. The bias for these four tubes can be adjusted by individuals with a tester and driver tool by applying a tester to pins 1-8. For tube longevity, the bias is currently set to approximately 0.3V. It is recommended that only those who understand which trimmer to adjust should attempt modifications.

This unit has undergone faithful repair and restoration. It was originally non-operational. Capacitors and resistors have been replaced with Japanese domestic components, and the speaker terminals have also been exchanged. Minor changes have been made to wire routing, but it remains largely faithful to the original design.

The bonnet and chassis show minimal rust and dirt for their age, but please verify condition through the provided images.
