Purchased new about 10 years ago.

It has been carefully stored in a dedicated case in a dark place for the past 5 years.

No full overhaul has been performed during my ownership.

In my personal judgment, the watch shows minor scratches from normal use, but remains in relatively good condition considering its age. However, the box and manual show signs of wear and staining. Please check the images for details.

The Khaki Field Auto is a direct descendant of wristwatches supplied to U.S. Army soldiers during World War II and the Korean War. Its strict adherence to military specifications reflects its heritage.

Key features include excellent dial readability, a hacking function that stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled, a sandblasted case that reduces light reflection, a lightweight body, and an oversized crown.

The hacking function, in particular, was essential for soldiers in synchronizing time before operations. By pulling the crown, the seconds hand stops, allowing precise time setting before restarting simultaneously on command—hence the term “hack watch.”
