General Electric GE 7-2990A BCL Radio

Made in Japan OEM model

This is a vintage GE radio released in the early 1980s.

It is believed to be the American version of the Panasonic Proceed 2600 (RF-2600).

Although it is over 40 years old, it has been carefully maintained and remains in excellent working condition.

SSB reception is possible by adjusting the gain, SW calibrator, and BFO settings.

The tuning meter backlight is working properly.

The blue frequency display creates a nostalgic appearance similar to the Proceed 2600.

Large speakers provide rich bass and clear sound quality.

The rear antenna terminal is in good condition.

The rod antenna is intact with no cracks or damage.

The AC power cord uses the same plug shape as Japanese outlets.

The radio can also operate with 6 AA batteries.

Voltage can be switched between 120V and 220V.

AM reception is clear, including supplementary broadcasts.

The main tuning dial may produce a slight clicking sound when rotated, but this does not affect operation.
