Description
One of the representative idler-drive turntables, the Garrard 301. It features a low center of gravity and clear, defined sound. The pulley and platter included with this item are for 50Hz use.
Condition
The main body has minor tarnish and small scratches, but no noticeable damage, and overall retains a glossy finish. The rubber mat shows no signs of deterioration and remains soft. This is a used item considering its age.
Operation
Operation has been confirmed. The item includes a 50Hz pulley and platter. Using our frequency converter and stroboscope, we verified proper operation with a 50Hz power source. The turntable reaches and maintains stable speed at 33/45/78 rpm. The speed adjustment knob responds properly, with near-central positions for all speeds. The brake engages correctly upon stopping.
This is a fully functional item in excellent working condition.
