We have received the only 1968 model in the later Fender Japan lineup from 2014, the ST68-TX! It features an alder body with Texas Special pickups, a laminated maple neck, a large headstock, Schaller F keys, and a 40mm wide slim grip neck. The 184R fingerboard and vintage frets combine to produce a pleasant vintage tone. While the 57, 62, and 72 models were the mainstream lineup, the 68 model was positioned as a higher-end model within Fender Japan. Detailed Description: Overall, there are scratches, dents, and signs of use. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of adjustment range for both forward bow correction and back bow correction. The neck has been adjusted with the rod and is almost straight. The frets still have sufficient height and are in a condition that does not particularly affect playability.
