Description

This listing is for a fully maintained and confirmed working EPSON PC-486GF2, equipped with dual 3.5" FDDs and FM sound source. The unit has undergone a complete overhaul, including electrolyte capacitor replacement and board cleaning.

Unit Specifications:

・CPU: 486SX 16MHz + OverDrive 486SX-20

・Memory: 640KB + 13312KB (Total 13MB RAM)

・FDD: 2 x 3.5 inch floppy disk drives

・Sound: Built-in FM sound source (PC-9821-26K compatible)

・C-Bus Boards:

・TEXA HA-55BS4 (SCSI board)

・Display board

Overhaul and Maintenance Details:

・FDD: Disassembled, cleaned with air blower and anhydrous ethanol, and operation confirmed. Head cleaning performed with a wet head cleaner.

・Power Supply Unit: Disassembled, cleaned, and all electrolytic capacitors replaced with Japanese-made capacitors. Voltage measured and operation confirmed. (Original capacitors showed no signs of leakage but were proactively replaced.)

・Motherboard/C-Bus Slots: Board removed and cleaned with air blower and anhydrous ethanol. Operation confirmed.

・Chassis: New rubber feet installed on the bottom. Please refer to the photos for the condition of the chassis (scratches, stains, dents, etc.).
