This is a fine example of a BlueBell F-15 flat mandolin, crafted by FUJIGEN (Fuji Gen). This high-end model was produced during a period when manufacturers competed intensely, resulting in a masterpiece that prioritized quality over cost. It remains a highly capable instrument today.
The label inside the soundhole clearly shows the F-15 model designation, the signature 'y.kosakabe', and the serial number. Mr. Kosakabe is a renowned luthier in the mandolin community.
・This mandolin was acquired from a collector for use in a guitar mandolin orchestra.
・As this is an older instrument, there is some discoloration on the white parts and wear on the metal components and frets.
・There are cracks in the side binding as shown in photo 19, but these do not appear to affect the sound.
・Sound output has been confirmed.
・The neck and fingerboard are in good condition.

・String action is approximately 2.1mm at the 12th fret on the 4th (8th) string.
