Excellent Condition

Although vintage, the overall condition is very clean.

Made in 1989, there are minor metal scratches typical for the material, but overall it is in beautiful condition. This is a commemorative watch for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. Several models were released, but this one was the most popular and is particularly difficult to obtain. Even in secondary markets, it is rarely seen, so this may be your last chance to acquire one in such excellent condition.

As you may know, most Armand watches are mechanical. Due to limited production and the closure of the workshop, spare parts and specialized tools were disposed of. If a mechanical watch breaks, even through an authorized dealer, it must be sent back to France, and due to the above reasons, repairs can be time-consuming and challenging.

In contrast, the quartz version of this watch was produced before Armand opened his own workshop. As a pure designer, he sourced the movements from subcontractors, making replacement parts for the movement relatively easy to obtain.
