Thank you for visiting. This is an auction for the Accuphase C-17 MC Head Amplifier. This is a top-of-the-line model featuring Pure Class A amplification, Cascode Push-Pull circuitry, and a fully symmetrical L/R channel independent power supply, making it a large and heavyweight unit.

This unit is in excellent working condition and fully functional. Unlike common issues with this model, the "Accuphase" logo on the front panel's LCD lights up correctly, and there are no unstable operations with the relay-based gain and impedance switching.

Introduced in 1984, the C-17 was developed during a time when MC cartridges were rapidly gaining popularity, though the audio industry was shifting focus to the dawn of the digital age with CD players. Consequently, the C-17 was produced in limited quantities, making it a rare find on the used market.

The unit offers gain switching at 32dB and 26dB, and load resistance (impedance) switching at 10/30/100Ω. Its substantial size and weight (Width: 20cm / Height: 15cm / Depth: 40cm / Weight: 8kg) are testament to its high-quality internal components designed for optimal MC cartridge amplification.
