Description

For sale is a rare set of JBL 2340 radial horns and 2461 1-inch throat drivers, designed for compact spaces with their unique right-angle throat construction. This configuration offers excellent high-frequency dispersion.

・JBL 2461 Drivers (16Ω): These relatively compact drivers boast high efficiency and a wide frequency response, with an optimal crossover range of 500-1200Hz. The original phenolic diaphragms have been replaced with aluminum diaphragms, contributing to excellent sound quality and balance.

・JBL 2340 Horns: These horns are constructed from die-cast aluminum with a special damping compound (Lansaplus) coating on the exterior to prevent resonance. While this coating can be prone to peeling, this particular set shows minimal peeling, indicating good condition.

・2461 Driver: Serial No: 15311 (DCR: 12.3Ω), 20640 (DCR: 12.2Ω). Dimensions: Diameter 114mm x Depth 98mm. Weight: 3.7kg.

・2340 Horn: Serial No: 10241/10201. Directivity (Horizontal x Vertical): 80°x60°. Crossover Frequency: 1.2kHz. Throat Diameter: 2.5cm. Dimensions: Width 213mm x Height 206mm x Depth 213mm.

This set in this condition is a rare find. Both drivers and horns are in very good working order and exhibit excellent sonic performance.
