This listing features a THORENS TD124 turntable expertly fitted with a SME 3009 S2 tonearm, including SME headshells and other accessories. The lifter oil has been refilled for optimal performance.

・Condition:

・All parts have been polished and cleaned. Arm, platter, and metal components have been polished to remove dirt and rust as much as possible.

・Knobs/Platter/Rubber Mat: Knobs and plate have a beautiful luster, and the spirit level bubble is intact. The platter shows only minor dullness and scuffs while retaining its gloss. The rubber mat is in excellent condition with no degradation or warping and has a good sheen.

・Cabinet: Minor scratches and scuffs are present, but the cabinet has a good overall luster. All four mushroom rubbers are brand new.

・Tonearm: The tonearm is in good condition with no noticeable damage and retains its luster. The weight shaft is not sagging. The arm base shows no significant damage.

・Overall, the unit is in good condition, judged as a good quality item considering its age. Please note this is a used item that has been in use for many years.

・Operation:

・An aging test of half a day to one day has been performed to confirm operation.

・Turntable: Fully operational. Powers on and rotates stably at all speeds. Rotation stability confirmed with a strobe scope. START/STOP and 16/33/45/78 RPM speed switching via the knob function correctly. Speed adjustment is possible via the dial. The brake lever functions, allowing the platter to be held. This unit is compatible with both 50Hz and 60Hz.

・Tonearm/Shell: Fully operational. Good sound output from both left and right channels. The lifter lever operates smoothly, with a consistent descent speed (oil refilled). The inside force canceller adjustment and operation are good. Tonearm height adjustment is also possible.

・All operations confirmed to be in good working order at the time of listing. As this is a combined player system, final adjustments should be made by the purchaser to suit their preference.
