This listing is for a Roland JW-50 Music Workstation, including the main unit, original power adapter, and a soft case.

The JW-50, released by Roland in 1992, is a music workstation equipped with a GS/GM sound source featuring TVF and TCA synthesis, a sequencer, and an auto-accompaniment function. This feature evokes the 90s vibe, allowing for real-time chord changes via sliders, making it suitable for both composition and live performance.

The following operations have been tested and confirmed to be in working order:

・Sound output from all keys when connected to an amplifier.

・Display contrast adjustment knob.

・Pitch bend and modulation lever operation.

・Floppy disk drive operation.

・Various button and dial operations.

Unlike some higher-end Roland synths from that era which suffered from melting weights under the keys, the JW-50, being a step below, does not have these weights and therefore has no such issues. The keybed offers decent velocity touch and includes aftertouch, though it requires some weight to engage.

Cosmetically, there is an impact mark on the side as shown in the 13th photo. The AC adapter plate also has an indentation, but this does not affect functionality. The soft case shows signs of wear. A formatted floppy disk is included as pictured.
