This listing is for a Rega RB880 tonearm bundled with the Rega Exact MM cartridge, originally purchased new in July 2024.
This tonearm is a direct replacement for Rega Planar 3 and Planar 6 turntables, as it shares the same dimensions as models like the RB330, requiring no height adjustments.
Installation is straightforward, involving loosening three torque screws and the screws securing the RCA cables.
The unit has been used very sparingly, with playback estimated at less than 100 hours. It was meticulously cleaned after each use with an Audio-Technica gel-type cleaner.
The tonearm is in excellent working condition with no playback issues. A close-up photo of the stylus tip is provided for reference.
Rega tonearms are rarely available for individual sale domestically in Japan, making this a unique opportunity for Rega turntable owners seeking an affordable upgrade.
