This listing is for a pre-owned, fully serviced Marantz CRS-8000 large boombox with a double cassette deck.

The CRS-8000 is ergonomically designed for user comfort. This unit features two types of cassette decks: a central deck and a side slot-in type deck. While the side deck is believed to be playback-only, both decks are fully functional. This is a rare and sought-after item.

Overall, there are signs of age-related wear as expected for a vintage item, but no significant external damage was observed. Please refer to the photos for detailed condition.

・Maintenance Performed: All surface and side drive belts have been replaced with new ones. Volume controls have been serviced with no crackling (static).

・Front Cassette Deck: Playback, recording, fast-forward, and rewind functions operate normally.

・Side Cassette Deck: Playback, fast-forward, and rewind functions operate without issue. Sound quality is good.

・Radio: FM/AM radio reception is clear, and audio output is good. Balance and tone controls have no crackling.

・Cassette Mechanism Maintenance: New drive rubber belts installed. Heads and rollers cleaned. Drive mechanism re-greased. Playback, fast-forward, rewind, and all functions operate correctly.
