Luxman PD121A heavy SME arm base type turntable

Around 1975, this arm-less player was released as an improved model of the PD121. Its stylish design, which does not show its age even after more than 40 years since release, attracts attention.

Condition

Each part has been polished and cleaned.

The dust cover is polished with a special polishing agent depending on the level of scratches and finished with gloss to enhance transparency.

The platter and metal parts are polished as clean as possible to remove dirt and rust.

Scratches and minor marks remain on the cover, but there is no noticeable damage, and it is transparent and clean.

The button section has no cracks and has gloss.

The platter has minor dullness and scratches but is glossy and in good condition.

The rubber mat shows signs of use on the fabric surface but is soft without hardening or warping.

The wood, metal, and top plate all have gloss and are in good condition.

All four insulators function properly, and the hinges are intact and hold the open state.

Overall it is in good condition.

Considering its age, we judge it to be a good item.

Please note it is a used item with age-related wear.

Operation

For operation confirmation, aging was performed for half a day to one day.
