The Bauhaus, which is said to have laid the foundation for modern design, was the era's last great master, Max Bill, who designed this series. Max Bill designed a very simple and beautiful watch for Junghans that reflects the Bauhaus philosophy. The round case, easy-to-read dial, and hands shaped based on the golden ratio faithfully reproduce the original model from that time. The simple and carefully arranged index design is wonderful! The polished stainless steel case shines, and the strap is a supple mesh that offers comfort. The characteristic dome-shaped crystal and the curved hour hand give it an architectural, art-piece-like quality. The Max Bill logo is engraved on the case back.

Max Bill (1908-1994) was active in various fields of design, including product, graphic, architecture, and interior design, and was also known as a sculptor, painter, theorist, and critic, leaving a remarkable legacy. He proposed a concrete art movement based on the pursuit of beauty grounded in mathematical truth, and was one of the designers who shaped today's design history.
