This is a traditional and precisely constructed 3-inch lightweight fly reel from Hardy. This is a limited edition model and will not be produced after Hardy's stock is depleted.

The Bouglé reel, first cataloged in 1903, was discontinued in 1939 due to aluminum shortages caused by WWII. The 1939 model, in particular, with its limited production numbers, is highly sought after by avid Hardy collectors.

The 1939 Bouglé Heritage Reel is a limited edition model paying homage to the rare original, finished in dark gunmetal anodizing in the 1939 style.
