・For sale is a pair of Gauss 4281 woofers.
・These are 12-inch (30cm) woofers featuring a powerful magnet.
・Acquired in the early 1990s, they were initially used as mid-bass drivers for JBL 4350A monitors, replacing the company's 2202A models.
・They pair well with early-model roll-edge diaphragms for the JBL 2440, producing a rich and dynamic midrange.
・Subsequently, they were installed in a SANSUI monitor 2130 cabinet and paired with JBL horn drivers, offering extended low-frequency response and improved dynamism compared to JBL 2130 full-range speakers.
・These woofers have been recently used and are confirmed to be in working condition.
・Considering their manufacturing origin in the 1980s, these units are in very clean condition.
・There are minor scratches and dirt marks consistent with over 30 years of use.
・The cone paper exhibits discoloration and stains due to age.
・The frame has scratches and dirt marks around the outer edge.
