Description

This is a custom-built ESP electric guitar, based on the Randy Rhoads V style.

Specifications (as remembered):

・Body Wood: Alder

・Neck Wood: Maple

・Fretboard Wood: Mahogany

・Front Pickup: EMG 85

・Rear Pickup: EMG 81

・Controls: One Volume, 3-way Switch, EMG Power Boost Switch

This guitar was created based on the ESP Kai Hansen model, with the neck crafted to be very similar to a Jackson Randy V.

The frets have approximately 40% remaining and replacement is recommended. The Floyd Rose tremolo has significant plating wear but is functional; replacement is also recommended.

While tested to be free of crackling approximately two months ago, being an older instrument, self-maintenance or professional servicing is advised.

The guitar has been used for about 30 live performances and approximately 5 years of practice (up to 5 hours daily). There is minor paint chipping on the lower body, typical of the Randy V shape, but no drops or significant damage. It has been consistently stored in a hard case, resulting in good condition for its age.

The neck shows minimal warp or twist (based on amateur inspection), and the truss rod has adjustment room.

The tremolo arm bar and nut locking mechanism are included, though not pictured. A strap is also included.
