Braun SK2/2 Vacuum Tube Radio - 1959 Model

This is a classic Braun SK2/2 vacuum tube radio, a design masterpiece from 1959. Created by Arthur Braun and Fritz Eichler, this model embodies the minimalist aesthetic that would later define Dieter Rams' "Less, but better" philosophy.

Featured in the May 2026 issue of "Casa BRUTUS" in their special feature on "BRAUN Dieter Rams Audio," this radio is a representative piece of German design.

・Controls: Left knob (ON/OFF & Volume), Right knob (AM/FM selection), Central dial (Tuning).

・Radio Reception: As an antique item, an external antenna is required for optimal reception. While designed for international frequencies, partial reception of Wide FM and other bands has been confirmed in Japan (reception may vary by environment).

・Smartphone Playback (Bluetooth Compatible): Connect your smartphone and enjoy music or streaming services with the characteristic warm sound of vacuum tubes using the included dedicated external input cable and Bluetooth receiver.

・Power: Ready for use with standard Japanese 100V wall outlets.
