This is a Seiko Stargate II Prospex automatic dive watch, reference SRP497K1, powered by the reliable Cal. 4R36 movement. This second-generation Stargate model features a distinctive orange dial and the cyclops lens over the date window. The bezel design is reminiscent of the sci-fi portal, giving the watch its nickname.
The watch is in excellent pre-owned condition with minimal signs of wear. There are slight scuffs on the edge of the case back, but the case and crystal are otherwise in remarkably clean condition with very few scratches or scuffs. The original rubber strap is also in excellent condition, showing no signs of dirt or significant use.
This model is increasingly difficult to find, especially in such pristine condition. Please note that the watch comes as the main unit only; no original box or papers are included.
