Description

Offered is a rare vintage Longines Ultra-Chron with a square case, dating from the 1960s to 1970s.

The Cal. 431 movement used in this watch was one of only two chosen for final selection in the Apollo program. It is a high-beat movement operating at 10 vibrations per second and has proven its reliability through various tests, including those for temperature variations, making it a truly practical timepiece.

This particular model features a less common square case design within the Ultra-Chron line.

While the dial shows signs of age, the case and case back remain in good and clean condition.

The watch operates with a gentle swing, but precise daily accuracy (rate) has not been measured. We recommend purchasing this item with maintenance in mind.
